About Cherie

Hi, I’m Cherie

After a 20-year career in business including finance, marketing, and startups I felt a pull toward work rooted in healing, meaning, and human connection. That path led me to become an integrative EMDR therapist.

I bring a culturally attuned lens to my work and strive to create a space that is affirming of LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and poly/kink identities and relationships. I recognize that many people navigating trauma are also navigating systems, expectations, and identities that haven’t always felt safe or understood in today’s society.

For individuals, I integrate psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches with EMDR alongside somatic techniques, CBT/DBT and existential therapy, tailoring the work to you.

In relational work, I utilize attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman principles, and sex therapy to help partners build deeper emotional and physical intimacy. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, balancing insight with real, tangible change.
